  Last year, Mooniacs came together to celebrate Moo Deng’s first Birthdeng with a small but mighty fundraiser.
  Together we were able to fill Moo's tray and raise a whopping $1,635 USD/ ฿ 52,940 🥹
- Every dollar made a real difference for our favorite ungovernable hippo Queen Moo Deng and her zoo Khao Kheow Open Zoo.
- Mooniacs were completely surprised and blown away, as Nick and KKOZ setup a booth with signage showcasing our donation and the goods our donations went towards.
  
  This year, we’re going even BIGGER for her 2nd birthdeng!
  Mooniac Members have donated pygmy hippo goodies from their local potato's in honor of the Queen herself!
  
  We have even secured OFFICIAL SACRED MOO MERCH, including a SIGNED Moo Deng Behind The Zoo book bundle (queue the screaming) with the assistance of Nick (one of Moo's beloved nannies aka 3rdhandhippo ).

  Where Your Contribution Goes
  All merch — including the Signed Moo Deng book — was donated by Mooniac members, so 100% of merch bundle donations support the fundraiser. Donations with and without entries 100% go to the fundraiser.
  
  How will our donations get to Moo Deng?
  Each donation goes to Nikki's paypal, who will wire the full amount (minus bank transfer fees) to Nick (3rdhandhippo). Nick will use the funds to purchase enrichment for Moo Deng and tools for KKOZ.

- What is this fundraiser for?
  This community‑run fundraiser supports enrichment, care supplies, and tools for Moo Deng at Khao Kheow Open Zoo. All donations (after standard payment processing fees) are deposited to Nikki's PayPal account, who will then wire the funds to Nick (3rdhandhippo), one of Moo Deng’s keepers. Nick uses the funds to purchase enrichment items and supplies for Moo Deng and KKOZ.
  
  How are the funds handled?
  Donations are collected securely through PayPal.
  Jotform does not take a percentage of your donation.
  Only standard PayPal processing fees apply.
  All funds are transferred to Nikki, who wires them to Nick at KKOZ.
  Nick purchases enrichment items directly for Moo Deng and tools for KKOZ.
  We will share updates and receipts for transparency.
  
  Is this fundraiser affiliated with the zoo?
  No. This is a fan‑organized community fundraiser created by Mooniacs. We are not officially affiliated with Khao Kheow Open Zoo, but we work directly with Nick (3rdhandhippo), one of Moo Deng’s keepers, to ensure funds are used appropriately. We have successfuly run one last year, albiet much less complicated as there were no prizes or merch involved.
  
  How does shipping work for prizes?
  Shipping for all physical prizes has been generously covered by Mooniac members They are not reducing the overall donation amount to Moo Deng/ KKOZ in anyway to cover the cost of items or shipping fees.
  
  I won an item, when will I recieve it?
  We aim to ship the majority of items by mid August. We may have delays on items coming from Thailand. Due to this we will keep everyone informed as we recieve updates. Once we recieve the items we will do our best to ship them out quickly to winners.
  
  How do entries work?
  You can participate in four ways:
  
  Free Entry for the SIGNED Moo Deng Book– no donation required
  Donation (no prize entry) – support Moo Deng without entering the sweepstakes
  Donation + Bonus Entries – donate AND receive bonus entries for the sweepstakes prize the SIGNED Moo deng book.
  Merch Donation + Bonus Entries- donate and receive the Merch you selected AND bonus entries for the sweepstakes prize the SIGNED Moo deng book.
  
  How will winners be chosen?
  All entries (free and donation‑based) are collected in Jotform. We export them into a spreadsheet and assign entries based on the rules. A third‑party wheel spin website is used to select winners. The drawing process will be documented and recorded for transparency. We will post the drawing, and it's results on The Mooniac (Moo Deng Fans) Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/themooniacs
  
  When will winners be announced?
  Winners will be drawn on Moo Deng’s Birthdeng — July 9th (When Moo will be celebrating her birthdeng in Thailand). Notifications to winners will be sent via email and the results will be posted https://www.facebook.com/groups/themooniacs

  2. How to Enter
  Participants may enter in one of four ways:
  
  A. Free Entry (No Donation Required)
  Submit the form and select the free entry option. Free entries receive one (1) entry into the sweepstakes.
  
  B. Donation Without Prize Entry
  You may donate to support Moo Deng and KKOZ without entering the sweepstakes.
  
  C. Donation + Bonus Entries
  Donations may include bonus entries based on the donation amount or items purchased.
  
  D. Merch Donation + Bonus Entries
  Donations receive the Merch you selected AND bonus entries for the sweepstakes prize the SIGNED Moo deng book.
  
  3. Entry Limits
  One free entry per person.
  Bonus entries are awarded based on donation tiers or item purchases.
  All entries must be submitted through the official Jotform.
  Jotform has settings to detect multiple entries and we will remove fraudulent free entries to keep it fair and give everyone a chance.
  
  4. Fund Handling
  Donations are processed securely through PayPal.
  Jotform does not take a percentage of your donation.
  Only standard PayPal processing fees apply.
  Funds are deposited to Nikki's PayPal account, who wires them directly to Nick (3rdhandhippo) at KKOZ.
  Nick uses the funds to purchase enrichment items and supplies for Moo Deng and the zoo.
  Updates and receipts will be shared for transparency.
  
  5. Prize Details
  Prize descriptions are listed in the “Prizes” section of the form.
  No cash alternative is available.
  If a winner cannot receive a prize due to shipping restrictions, an alternative may be offered or a redraw may occur.
  Some items may have limited quantities (e.g., 1‑of‑1 items). Once claimed, they are no longer available. If an error occurs on Jotforms end, and Merch limited to 1 is purchased by multiple people we will do our best to offer it, if we cannot we will refund your donation and choose the entrant who purchased first to recieve the item.
  
  6. Shipping Rules
  Shipping costs for physical prizes are covered by Mooniac community members.
  We can ship within the U.S. and select international regions.
  Some countries may be excluded due to high shipping costs or customs restrictions.
  If your location cannot be shipped to, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or redraw.
  Some items are coming from Thailand, and may take extra time to arrive. We will do our best to ship them as quickly as we can when we recieve them, and will keep winners informed.
  
  7. Winner Selection
  All entries (free and donation‑based) are collected through Jotform.
  Entries are exported into a spreadsheet and assigned entry counts based on the rules.
  Winners are selected using a third‑party digital wheel spin for transparency.
  The drawing will be documented (screenshots, screen recording, or livestream).
  Winners will be notified via email.
  
  8. Winner Notification
  Winners will be contacted via the email provided on the entry form.
  Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize.
  If a winner does not respond, a new winner may be selected.
  
  9. Privacy
  Personal information is used only for administering the sweepstakes and contacting winners.
  We do not sell or share your information.
  Payment information is handled securely by PayPal.
