Rules and Regulations of Gladstone Park Throwback Festival Dates & Times:

Saturday, September 12th 10am-10:30pm
Sunday, September 13th 11am-8pm
Insurance: Commercial vendors must submit an insurance certificate by: Providing product and general liability insurance, which also names the city of Chicago and the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce as additional insured during the Throwback Fest, September 10th, 11th, and 12th of 2026. Insurance must include all hours and days present of the festival, including hours for set-up and tear-down.
Indemnification: The vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the city of Chicago and the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce from any and all losses, costs, damages, liabilities, expenses, and claims, arising from or of, or by reason of, said vendor and it’s agents, servants and employees, occupying and using the booth and space thereof.
Right to Amend: The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce will rule on all questions regarding Throwback Festival Guidelines and have the sole power to change and/or interpret same. Vendors will be advised of all changes in writing.
Booth Dimensions: A maximum of 15x15 If you exceed these dimensions, you will be required to lease another space.
Booth Standards: The front counter area will be a serving and payment area only! No food equipment is allowed in the frontage area.
Booth Supplies: Vendors must provide food, supplies, cooking equipment, chairs, tables, fire extinguishers and utensils. Unless vendor has applied for ALL INCLUDED which includes tents, tables, and chairs. All items necessary to meet health and other city of Chicago code requirements for booth operation. Each booth must be self-contained.
Electric: Electricity will be provided by generators. Vendors must supply their own extension cords. None will be provided. Extension cords are to be S-O listed for outdoor use, minimum of 12-guage and grounded. All extension cords are to be protected from physical damage and must be appropriately secured to the floor perimeter of the interior of the booth. Plugs are to be above ground to protect from water.
Food Items: Vendors must list their complete menu on the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special event permit application describing entrees and side dishes. Including the correct temperatures to which it is safe to eat and keep. The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce has the right to select what foods will be served or that are exclusive to Throwback Festival. No food items may be added or substituted after their menu has been approved.
Alcoholic beverages: No alcoholic beverages shall be dispensed other than by the liquor license holder, Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce, approved by the State of Illinois. Any vendor selling alcohol without permission will be asked to leave the festival without payment reimbursement.
Water: Vendor is responsible for supplying their own water for consumption and cooking purposes. Vendors are not allowed to get water from nearby businesses. Each vendor is responsible for having a minimum of FIVE gallons on her per day. Hand washing stations are provided by the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce.
