Whether you are nominating a colleague, a campus effort, or your own work, we appreciate your participation in this process.
Please review the award criteria carefully and provide all requested materials for the selected category.
Before You Begin
- Submit one form for each award nomination.
- Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged.
- For partnership awards, including Something Borrowed, Something New, and Powerful Partnerships, please include all partners within the same nomination form.
- Strong nominations include specific examples that show how the nominee’s work aligns with the award criteria.
- Nominations may be submitted by staff from AHEPPP member institutions who support parents and families in higher education.
- Eligible programs, initiatives, publications, and projects must have been implemented or produced by June 1, 2026.
- The submission deadline is June 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Nomination Materials
- Each award submission requires a nomination letter describing the person, program, initiative, partnership, or research being nominated.
Strong nomination letters:
- Describe the impact on students, families, institutions, and/or the AHEPPP community
- Address how the nominee reflects the AHEPPP mission.
- Include examples and outcomes whenever possible
- You may also include supplemental materials such as:
- Videos (3 minutes or less)
- Links to research or publications
- PDF examples of communications, marketing materials, or program resources
- We encourage nominators to review the award descriptions and criteria before submitting materials.
