RULES, REGULATIONS & LIABILITY WAIVER BOUNCE HOUSE, SOFT PLAY & PARTY RENTAL

1. Adult supervision is REQUIRED at ALL times while children are using any inflatable, bounce house, soft play
equipment, ball pits, slides, or party items.
2. Equipment is designed for children ages specified by Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone only.
3. No roughhousing, wrestling, flips, pushing, climbing on walls, hanging from netting, or unsafe behavior allowed.
4. No shoes allowed on inflatable or soft play equipment.
5. No food, candy, gum, drinks, glitter, slime. Confetti. Face paint, silly string, sharp objects, or pets allowed on
equipment.
6. Children must remove glasses, jewelry, watches, hair clips, or sharp objects, before playing.
7. No adults allowed on children’s inflatables or soft play unless approved by Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun
Zone.
8. Do not exceed occupancy limits or weight limits.
9. Children should be grouped by similar size and age for safety.
10. Equipment must remain plugged in and operating during use.
11. Do not move, relocate, tamper with, or adjust equipment.
12. In case of high winds, rain, lighting, bad weather, or unsafe conditions, all children must immediately exit
equipment.

SOFT PLAY RULES

 1. Softplay area is intended for toddlers and small children only.

2. No jumping off soft play structures.

3. No climbing on barriers or foam walls.

4. Ball pit balls are not to be thrown outside the play area.

5. Socks are recommended while using soft play equipment.

BOUNCE HOUSE & SOFT PLAY AREA RISKS

 Client understands bounce houses and inflatables carry risks including but not limited to:

● Slipping

● Falling

● Tripping

● Collisions with other participants

● Injuries from jumping

● Sprains

● Broken bones

● Cuts and bruises

● Head injuries

● Neck injuries

● Paralysis

● Suffocation hazards

● Choking hazards

● Allergic reactions

● Heat exhaustion

● Equipment failure

● Weather-related accidents

● Serious bodily injury

● Death

Client voluntarily accepts ALL risks associated with the use of rental equipment.

PARK & PUBLIC VENUE CLAUSE

Client is responsible for obtaining all permits, permissions, HOA approvals, venue approvals, park approvals, and electrical access required for setup and operation of rental equipment.

Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone is not responsible for denied access, venue restrictions, or permit violations.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

Client agrees to provide safe and working electrical outlets within reasonable distance of setup area. Client understands bounce houses require continuous electrical power.

Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone is not responsible for power outages, tripped breakers, generator failures, or interruptions caused by insufficient electricity.

SURFACE & SETUP LIABILITY

Client assumes responsibility for the setup location and confirms the area is free from sprinkler systems, underground lines, septic systems, holes, uneven surfaces, animal waste, sharp objects, or hazards.

Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone is not responsible for damage to grass, landscaping, irrigation systems, underground utilities, pavement, or property during setup or removal.

WEATHER & REFUND POLICY 

Equipment cannot operate during rain, lightning, strong winds, or unsafe weather conditions. No refunds will be issued after setup has been completed. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable at
company discretion.

Damage & Cleaning Fees

Client agrees to pay additional cleaning, repair, or replacement fees for damage caused by food, drinks, mud, face paint, gum, slime, silly string, markers, pets, smoking, sharp objects, or misuse.

Child Injury & Medical Emergency Clause

Client assumes full responsibility for medical emergencies, allergic reactions, choking incidents, injuries, falls, collisions, accidents, or participant behavior during the rental period.

Equipment Removal Rights

Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone reserves the right to stop operation and remove equipment without refund if unsafe behavior, overcrowding, fighting, intoxication, weather hazards, or dangerous conditions are observed.

Rental Time Responsibility

Client is responsible for equipment from delivery until pickup and agrees not to use equipment after scheduled rental time.

Food & Allergy Disclaimer

Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone is not responsible for food allergies, choking hazards, reactions, or sensitivities related to treats, drinks, candy, popcorn, or food products served during the event.

Liability Waiver & Release

Client agrees to FULLY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives from ANY liability, claims, lawsuits, damages, losses, injuries, medical expenses, attorney fees, disability, or death related to
the use of equipment or participation in activities. This waiver applies whether caused by negligence or otherwise to the fullest extent allowed under Louisiana law.

Indemnification Clause

Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone from any claims, lawsuits, damages, injuries, attorney fees, or liabilities arising from the event or use of rental equipment.

Liability Waiver & Release 

The client understands and acknowledges that participation in inflatable bounce houses, soft play areas. Party activities, games, and related equipment involves inherent risks of injury and danger.

The client agrees to FULLY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS: HAYVEN'S LEMONADE HOUSE & FUN ZONE

Its owners, employees, staff, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and representatives
From ANY AND ALL liability, claims, demands, lawsuits, damages, losses, injuries, medical expenses, attorney fees, death, or causes of action arising from or related to:

● Use or misuse of equipment
● Participant behavior
● Lack of supervision
● Improper operation
● Weather conditions
● Equipment failure
● Falls or collisions
● Allergic reactions
● Negligence of participants
● Any injury, illness, disability, or death

This release applies WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE to the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law.

Client Responsibility

The client agrees that they are fully responsible for:

● Supervising all participants
● Ensuring safe use of equipment
● Preventing prohibited activities
● Monitoring weather conditions
● Any damage to equipment
● Any injuries occurring during rental period
● Any theft, vandalism, or misuse
● Any costs related to damages or cleaning

Client agrees to reimburse Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone for any damage caused by misuse, negligence, theft, food stains, face stains. Face paint, gum, silly string, sharp objects, pets, or failure to follow rules.

Weather Policy

For safety reasons, inflatables and soft play equipment cannot operate during:

● Rain
● Lightning
● Strong winds
● Severe weather conditions

Initial only ONE option.

Client grants permission for Hayven’s Lemonade House & Fun Zone to use event photos/videos for advertising, social media, and marketing purposes unless declined in writing.
