What you need to do
It’s quite simple! Read all the info, then fill in your details, pay your trial fee when it asks you to and press submit by Friday 19 June.
About the trials
We appreciate it's not always easy but it's really important you do everything you can to attend the trial date. It will give us the best chance to see your skills and feel your passion to be able to select you!
When: Friday 03 July.
Where: Halls 4 & 5 at Sportspark, UEA.
Parking: Please remember to input your car registrations into the screens in reception.
If you really can't make the date, we may be able to offer you a trial at a later time. Please tick the ‘unavailable’ box further down on the form and we’ll be in touch. You will still need to pay the trial fee if you wish to be considered.
After the session
We will usually confirm the trial outcome within 5 working days after the session.
Then what happens?
If successful, you will need to confirm your squad place online and set up your monthly club payments.
All squads will start training in September on Monday evenings and we will publish details with the trial results.
About the season
We are dedicated to player progression and our club pathway. Any athlete in our junior regional squads should have the desire and intention to progress to our senior national or senior regional squads.
To reinforce this progression, we are increasing the competitive opportunites for all squads including:
East Region Youth League
East Region Development League
Regional tournaments and match play days
Norwich winter and summer league
By accepting your place in one of our junior regional squads, you are committing to be as club focussed as possible and available for training and matches. If you do not have this intention, please do not trial and take someone else's place.
How much does everything cost?
There are two main fees:
- Yearly England Netball membership which you buy via the England Netball membership system, ENgage.
- Monthly club fee paid over 10 instalments. We subsidise monthly fees via fundraising and sponsorship where we can to make playing as accessible as possible.
We also try to find academy squad sponsorship. If you know anyone who can help, please email nuncsponsorship@gmail.com.
One team
We expect all squad members to be positive advocates and visible to the whole club. This includes club identity on and off court (kit available from our online shop) and on all forms of social media. We encourage you to actively promote what we all do, promote each other and thank sponsors. We, of course, don’t want to see or hear anything damaging to the club, our coaches or members.
