First Generation Farm Mentors Application

The Michigan First-Generation Farm Mentors Project will match ten first-generation growers with experienced mentors to strengthen mentees' farm management and sustainability, while supporting adoption of new practices. Mentors represent a wide range of farming practices, specialties, and communities across the state of Michigan. Applications will open in July 2026 and mentorships will start in October 2026.

I understand this mentorship experience is intended to build and strengthen relationships between program participants and mentors.
