The Sport and Recreation Division - Team Nunavut is seeking enthusiastic, experienced people to serve as volunteer Mission Staff for the 2027 Canada Winter Games.  

As part of Team Nunavut’s Mission Staff, you will be responsible for supporting Nunavut’s coaches, managers, and athletes to have the experience of a lifetime and allow them to focus on representing Nunavut to the best of their ability an international premier multi-sport event.

 

Applicant Eligibility Requirements:

In order to be eligible, applicants must meet or submit the following:

 Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search - (Must be dated no later than April 2026)
 Two letters of reference
 A valid driver’s license - (Class 5 unrestricted)

*The above items need to be part of the Application and need to be uploaded at the end of this form. Do not continue if you do not have the above three items completed, or can show proof of items.

 Be at least 24 years of age
 Be a resident of Nunavut
 Be available to travel to the Games – able to submit proof of approved leave from employer 
 Ability to take part in conference calls and training assignments prior to event
 Complete all training and team building activities
