IASP is seeking volunteers to serve on its committees and working groups.
Volunteers play a vital role in advancing IASP’s mission to bring together scientists, clinicians, health care providers, and policymakers to support the study of pain and translate knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide.
Members may apply for up to two committee or working group opportunities. Applications will be reviewed by the IASP Committee on Committees.
The application deadline is 30 June 2026.
Most volunteer work occurs by email and virtual meetings. English is the official language for IASP activities. Early career members, people with lived experience, and members from low- and middle-income countries are especially encouraged to apply.
