Recreation PEI is hosting the East Coast Arena Training (ECAT) Level 2 course at the Eliyahu Wellness Centre in North Rustico, Prince Edward Island on August 13th & 14th, 2026.
Participants must have completed ECAT Basic Course (Level 1) to participate in this Level 2 Course. This year, Recreation PEI is partnering with the Global Venue Institute (GVI) on a pilot program to provide access to the Level 1: Introduction to Ice Making course online. Participants can register for the course through GVI and use code RECPEI25 to receive 25% off the registration fee. We also plan to offer a one-day, in-person ice-making session in the fall to provide hands-on learning opportunities. For those who have already completed Level 1, a discounted registration option for the in-person session will be available. Additional details will be shared at a later date.
A Certificate of Participation will be presented to those who complete the course.
