All American Open Call Submission
  • All American: Contemporary Perspectives from HBCU Artists is a group exhibition celebrating current and former students connected to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This exhibition brings together perspectives across generations, exploring identity, culture, community, and the many ways HBCUs shape artistic practice, creative expression, and lived experience. No entry fee. Submit up to three 2D works for consideration.

     

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Open to current students, alumni, former students, faculty, and staff affiliated with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
    • Artists may submit up to three (3) original 2D works for consideration
    • Eligible media include painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, collage, mixed media, and other wall-mounted 2D formats
    • Work may not exceed 36” x 48” including frame
    • All artwork must be ready to hang upon delivery
    • Artwork must not protrude more than 3 inches from the wall
    • Artists must provide title, medium, dimensions, and year for each submission
    • Due to corridor gallery limitations, Artspace reserves the right to decline work that presents installation or safety concerns
    • Selected artists will be notified via email
