    When: June 8 - June 12

    Time: Registered swimmers will be assigned a time slot with others in their age group between 4pm and 8pm.   All lessons are 60 minutes long.

    Woodcrest Community Pool with the support of Canadian Tire's Jump Start program are pleased to offer a 5 day program to help beginner swimmers to gain confidence in the water.  

    (CTJSS) Canadian Tire Jump Start has subsidized select demographics to help ensure this program is accessible to all in need. 
    Full price for this program is $130/week.

    **Accessiblity: Our changerooms have a 4" step into the change room / washroom area.  Our pool does not have a ramp, we have a ladder and stairs.

    Entry Waiver:

    As a condition of entry and/or use of the Woodcrest Community Club and Pool you and on behalf of all individuals entering with you agree that the Woodcrest Community Pool Club, its employees and directors shall not be held liable for any personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever while on the premises of the Woodcrest Community Pool Club and waive all claims with respect thereto.

    Admissions Standard for Woodcrest Community Pool
    In the interest of the safety of all our members, our admissions policy conforms to regulations currently used by the City of London Aquatic Services, and based on recommendations from Coroner’s Inquests and the Life Saving Society of Ontario, which stipulate that:

    Children aged 7 years and under: 

    • Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is responsible for their direct supervision at all times including in the pool. 
    • Maximum of 2 children for each parent/guardian.
    • The parent/guardian must be at least 12 years of age.

    Children aged under 10 years who are non-swimmers:

    • Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is at least 12 years of age and responsible for their direct supervision at all times including in the pool.

    Children aged 7-10 years who are strong swimmers:

    • Must be able to demonstrate comfort in the water.
    • Must pass the Aquatic Services Unit Swim Test – which consists of 25 meter swim completed comfortably by the swimmer without putting their feet on the bottom of pool.
    • Woodcrest Pool does not consider floaties / puddle jumpers as an approved personal floatation device.  Children that require a floaty need to have a capable swimmer within arms reach. 

    Picture Waiver
    While visiting Woodcrest Pool, a photo may be taken that captures you in frame. Members share their photos for use on our website, newsletter, facebook and instagram pages.  We make efforts to not post unflattering photos and are sensitive to posting pictures of children's faces online.  

    By signing the below, I understand that my photograph could be included on the above mentioned ways.  Should I wish to have a photo removed, I am to contact the Board of Directors at: swim@woodcrest.ca

    I agree that I shall have no claim against Woodcrest Pool Club or against anyone accessing or using images from this collection. 

    Woodcrest will never sell or share photos of members or visitors to any third party.
