PRICE
$950 PER TEAM
Invoice will be issued to Team Manager (details to be completed below) - Payment secures your teams spot in the tournament. Any player who is not registered for the 2026 Winter Season will need to pay an extra insurance fee.
Each Team will be randomly allocated a country participating at this years World Cup. Each player (maximum 10 players per team) will recieve a jersey representing that country which will be worn throughout the tournament.
Association referees will be allocated to every game.
WHO
Although this is a tournament run by Newcastle Football, we have opened it up to accept team nominations from our neighbouring zones, including but not limited to Hunter Valley Football, Northern NSW Football (JDL) & Macquarie Football.
TOURNAMENT SUMMARY
16 TEAMS PER AGE GROUP
4 GROUPS OF 4 TEAMS
7 V 7
25 MINUTE GAMES (NO HALF TIME & UNLIMITED INTERCHANGE)
DAY 1
Round Robin format where every team plays each other twice in their group, equalling 6 games in Day 1.
Results from Day 1 will be recorded and each team will be then split into finals groups for Day 2. These groups will be created based on ladder position after day 1 (All 4 teams who finish in first place will be group A etc)
DAY 2
Once seperated into Finals Groups, each team will play each other once to decide finals bracket. Each team will play 5 games in total on day 2.
Final 1 - 1 v 4
Final 2 - 2 v 3
Grand Final - Winner of 1 v 4 will play Winner of 2 v 3
3rd Place Final - Loser of 1 v 4 will play Loser of 2 v 3
