Moon & Mine – Terms & Conditions
By placing an order and paying a deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Deposits & Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours to secure your booking.
Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
The remaining balance is due 2 days before collection or delivery.
Orders placed within 7 days of the event require full payment upfront.
Cakes will not be released until paid in full.
Order Details
Please carefully check all order information, including names, dates, contact details, design requirements, and collection/delivery details. It is the customer's responsibility to notify Moon & Mine of any errors.
Cancellations & Changes
All cancellations and changes must be made in writing.
Cancellations more than 14 days before the event will receive a full refund of deposit.
Cancellations within 14 days of the event forfeit the deposit.
Date changes incur a $50 administration fee per change.
Design changes must be requested at least 7 days before the event.
If Moon & Mine must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
Allergens
All products are prepared in a kitchen where common allergens, including nuts, are present. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contamination, traces may be present.
Storage & Care
Cakes are perishable and must be stored as instructed. Fondant cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place and not refrigerated unless advised. Moon & Mine is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect storage, transport, handling, weather, or venue conditions after collection or delivery.
Decorations
Some cakes may contain non-edible decorations, including wires, toothpicks, support rods, figurines, or other decorative items. These must be removed before consumption.
Design Variations
While every effort is made to match inspiration images and colour palettes, exact replication cannot be guaranteed. Minor variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our products and availability of materials.
Delivery
Delivery within the Kojonup townsite will incur a fee of $15, Delivery outside of the Kojonup townsite is available for an additional fee per km and must be arranged in advance. Once delivered and accepted, responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer or venue.
Photographs
Moon & Mine reserves the right to photograph cakes and desserts for advertising, promotional, and social media purposes. Please advise if any names or ages are to be blurred out.
Refunds
As cakes are custom-made and perishable, refunds are generally not available. Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of collection or delivery, and the product may need to be returned for assessment.
Privacy
Customer information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Agreement
By paying a deposit, signing the order form, or proceeding with an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
