    Our Teen Babysitter Certification Course is designed to help students ages 12–16 gain the knowledge, confidence, and certifications needed to safely care for children.

    Students will participate in hands-on training covering:
    ✅ Babysitting safety
    ✅ Emergency preparedness
    ✅ Infant & child CPR/AED
    ✅ Basic first aid
    ✅ Choking emergencies
    ✅ Age-appropriate childcare skills

    Students who successfully complete the course will receive:

    Babysitter Certification
    CPR/AED Certification
    First Aid Certification
    This course is perfect for teens interested in babysitting, staying home alone responsibly, or building leadership and safety skills.

    Spots are limited to allow for hands-on instruction.

    What age is this class for?
    This course is designed for students ages 12–16.

    What certifications are included?
    Students will receive:

    • Babysitter Certification
    • CPR/AED Certification
    • First Aid Certification

    Does my teen need prior experience?
    No experience is required.

    What should students bring?

    • Comfortable clothing
    • Water bottle
    • Lunch/snacks (Pizza and a drink will be provided during the scheduled lunch)
    • Notebook (optional)

    Will there be hands-on training?
    Yes! Students will practice CPR, AED, choking response, and first aid skills.

    How long is the class?
    The course is approximately one full day. Check in starts at 8:30 am and students will be dismissed approximately 4 pm.

    Can parents stay during class?
    To help students build confidence and independence, this is a student-only course unless otherwise discussed in advance.

    How many students are in each class?
    Class sizes are intentionally kept small to allow for hands-on instruction.

    Who teaches the class?
    The course is taught by a certified CPR/AED & First Aid instructor with healthcare and youth experience.

    Parent/Guardian Agreement:

    I understand that participation in the Teen Babysitter Certification Course includes physical activity related to CPR, AED, and First Aid skills practice.

    I acknowledge that while every reasonable effort will be made to provide a safe learning environment, participation is voluntary.

    I release and hold harmless JDK Inspirations, The CPR Lab, instructors, assistants, and hosting facilities from liability for injuries or damages resulting from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

    I understand certifications are awarded upon successful completion of course requirements.

    I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary should I be unable to be reached.

  • Registration, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

    Due to limited class sizes and advance preparation of materials, all registration fees are non-refundable.

    If a student is unable to attend the scheduled class, a one-time transfer to a future Teen Babysitter Certification Course may be requested with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the class start time.

    Requests to reschedule made less than 24 hours before the class, failure to attend without notice, or failure to attend the rescheduled class will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

    In the event that a class must be canceled or rescheduled by JDK Inspirations, students will be offered the option to transfer to a future class date at no additional charge.

    By registering for this course, you acknowledge and agree to this Registration, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

  • Payment Information

    Your student's spot is not guaranteed until payment has been received.

    Registration Fees:
    • Early Bird Registration (on or before June 5): $125 per student
    • Registration after June 5: $150 per student
    • Sibling or Bring-a-Friend Discount: $125 per student (both students must register together)

    Payment must be submitted within 24 hours of registration using one of the following methods:

    Please include the student's name in the payment notes.

    If payment is not received within 24 hours, the registration may be canceled and the spot released to another student.

    Once payment has been received, a confirmation email with class details will be sent.

    Please Note: Registration fees are non-refundable. Students may transfer to a future Teen Babysitter Certification Course with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled class date.
