DESIGN CONTEST GUIDELINES:
- Submissions must be from a current Momentum Artist. If you are not currently and artist, but are interested in learning more, please contact Emma at emmab@teamcsa.org.
- Designs should be inspired by mental health/disability awareness, Momentum's impact, the power of art in growth and healing, etc.
- Each person can submit a maximum of 3 entries. Entries can be in any medium that a digital image can capture.
- All entries must be original creations, and cannot contain profanity, trademarks, logos or copyrighted works. (Please no coloring pages, paint-by-number, or similar items)
- Your design must fit on the front of the shirt only.
- You are only eligible to enter artwork if you identify as having a disability, brain injury, or mental health issue. You must be 18 years or older, if under 18 you may have a parent or guardian submit on your behalf.
- Original artwork will be returned to the artist. However, the image may be used by Community Support Advocates at any time for any purpose and may be minimally edited to better translate to apparel. The winning design may be displayed as part of your portfolio or personal collection, but the artist may not reproduce the design for any other purposes. For example, your original drawing/photograph/painting, etc. will be returned to you; however, you may not sell or reproduce the image.
- Community Support Advocates reserves the right to pick one entry, or no entries as the winning entry, and to terminate this contest at any time.
- The winner will write a thank you note to the Sponsor of the contest.
DESIGNS ARE JUDGED ON THE FOLLOWING:
- Concept/originality - Captures the spirit of Momentum
- Striking and memorable design
- Visibility – eye-catching from a reasonable distance
- Completeness of design – must be ready for print
- Feasibility – the design must be easy to reproduce for apparel printing
SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Files need to be high resolution.
- The winning artist must provide the original design within 2 business days to Community Support Advocates. If the artwork is not produced by this deadline, another piece might be chosen as the winner.
- The entries will be judged by a panel of Community Support Advocates employees, committee members, and/or board members.
