WORK PORTOLIO

Please share current excerpts or examples of your work in progress, especially if you’ve already begun the project you have proposed to work on during an NJCF fellowship. Please share work that was made/published/shown in the last seven years.

Whenever possible, please give us links for audio or video (with passwords, if needed) instead of uploading files. If uploading examples of your work, please combine them into three files no larger than 20MB.

WRITING (fiction, poetry, nonfiction, mixed genre, graphic narrative)
Upload a PDF file or Word doc in manuscript format, double-spaced, and in 12-point font.
Fiction, nonfiction, mixed genre, graphic narrative writers: 15 pages minimum, 25 pages maximum.
Poets: 6-10 poems in one document. Poets do not need to double-space their submissions. Total sample should not exceed 15 pages.

MUSIC/SOUND COMPOSITION
Provide links to an audio recording and/or video (if applicable) of 2-3 representative works, when possible noting timestamps to direct us to a critical excerpt. If links are not possible, upload files not exceeding 20MB.

PLAYWRIGHTS/MUSICAL THEATER
Upload 25 pages of manuscript in playwriting format; if the pages are an excerpt please provide a short synopsis/description of premise.

FILM/VIDEO/NEW MEDIA
Provide links for 2-3 representative works, when possible noting timestamps to direct us to a critical excerpt. If links are not possible, upload a file not exceeding 20MB.

VISUAL ARTISTS

DANCE/MOVEMENT/INTERDISCIPLINARY ARTS/PERFORMANC
