The South Carolina Aggregates Association proudly presents the Environmental Award Program, a prestigious initiative designed to honor companies that demonstrate exemplary commitment to environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and community impact.
Program Overview: This award recognizes outstanding efforts in environmental management and positive contributions to the mining industry. We encourage participants to provide comprehensive details and supporting evidence to showcase their initiatives. Remember, a compelling visual can significantly enhance your submission—include photos to vividly illustrate your efforts!
Application Process:
Scoring Criteria: Each section of the application is assigned a specific number of points. A panel of expert judges will evaluate the responses based on how well they meet the established criteria. Points will be awarded in proportion to the effectiveness and thoroughness of the submissions.
Total Points: Up to 100 points are available. The top three scoring companies will be honored with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for consideration, companies must:
1. Be an associate member in good standing with the SCAA
2. Demonstrate exceptional environmental stewardship/community engagement practices
3. All BMPs met and required
