  • Salvation: What Every Catholic Should Know by Michael Patrick Barber | Level - Beginner and longtime Bible Students | Mondays: Sept. 21, 2026 – Nov. 2, 2026 | 6:00–7:30pm Holy Family Fireside Room | Leader(s): Tom Schuessler (schuess56@gmail.com or 920-210-4990) and Katy Schuessler

Catholics at Sunday Mass profess that Jesus came “for our salvation."  What does ''salvation'' mean?  In this exciting book, Scripture scholar Michael Patrick Barber provides a thoroughly Catholic and biblical answer. We call Jesus the Savior. If that matters, we should want to know exactly what salvation entails. Michael Barber details what salvation is and what it is not. Subjects covered: 1. What does it mean to be saved? 2. Salvation as a gift. 3.  Sin and the purpose and mission of Jesus. 4.  Salvation and the believer’s works (which become the works of Christ).  5.  The cross of Jesus as the revelation of Divine love. 6. Salvation and the Church. 7.  Salvation as entering into the Trinitarian life of God. In addition to our discussion of the book,  each week we will include  a meditative Scripture reading on the topic discussed, and we will pray together.

Materials Needed: Tom Schuessler will order your book. Cost: ~$9 to be paid to Tom.

This study will include: watching videos as a group, class discussion, reading the Bible, reflecting on questions and the Catholic Catechism.

Materials needed: Along with Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come (-$27 plus shipping), you will need a Bible, pen or pencil and access to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (either the book or online). • Spiritual Motherhood Bible Study - Walking with Purpose | Level - Beginner | WOMEN ONLY | Fridays: Sept. 18 - May 14, 2027, following SMSA school calendar and cancelations | Mingle at 7:45 am, Group starts at 8:15-10:00am at St. Mary's Springs Academy Childcare | Leader(s): Allison Geiger (kageiger@att.net or (920) 810-7868), Laura Rector, and Katelynn Schneider

People need to be welcomed home. Will you open the door of your heart? Spiritual Motherhood: The Transforming Power of the Feminine Genius will show you how. But get ready. You will be changed, in the best of ways. This Bible study will lead you on a journey of discovering your true identity, and usher you into your calling to mother this world back to Jesus.

Spiritual Motherhood is not just for biological mothers and those who have made religious vows. It's a call to a new way of seeing and a radical gift of self. It’s the feminine genius in action, and it has the power to completely transform our increasingly dehumanizing culture.

We are surrounded by people who are desperately searching for a mother. In a world that feels unfriendly, we can provide a refuge. Our homes are to be hospitals—havens of healing. Our dinner tables are to be operating tables—the place where broken souls are made whole again. When we offer this to hearts that are aching and longing to be seen, heaven and earth come together, and sacred space is created.

This 25-lesson Bible study includes 21 lessons, 4 journaling lessons, and 9 connect coffee videos.

Materials needed: Spiritual Motherhood| Cost: $45.00 plus shipping | Participants purchase their own materials
