NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM CHARRA GRANT
2027 APPLICATION
The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame honors and celebrates women, past and present, whose lives exemplify the courage, resilience and independence that helped shape the West. The Cowgirl Musem is proud to offer this opportunity for active escaramuza teams, thanks to the generosity of Las Tunas Ranches for underwriting the grant program.
Five grants of $2,000.00 will be awarded to four adult teams and one youth team. Recipients will be selected by the Viva la Vaquera Committee of the National Cowgirl Museum. Awards will be presented at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas in March 2027 at the 4th Annual Mujeres Charras Históricas Ceremony.
Eligibility and requirements: This grant is only available to United States escaramuza teams. Applicants must submit the following to be considered:
- Written form application
- Team photo
- Proof of FMCH registration and participation for three years. The following forms of certification are accepted, and at least three must be submitted for consideration.

- Completed applications must be submitted by Sunday, November 15, 2026 at 11:59pm CT.
