ACCI currently has over 100 artists represented in our gallery. We offer the opportunity for new artists to apply to the co-op with an annual jury process in the Spring and Fall. Our Membership Committee takes many factors into consideration when jurying new artists. The quality of technique, originality, continuity of style, and salability of the art is our highest priority in evaluating the art. As a cooperative gallery, we also put a high value on artists who are willing to be active members with skill sets that can contribute to the success of the gallery and its artists. Our application includes detailed questions about your availability, experience and skills. While none of these factors are required for membership, they will add value to your jury score.
ACCI is committed to representing the full spectrum of our Bay Area community. We encourage artists of color, LGBTQIA artists, young emerging artists and underrepresented artists to apply.
We currently have two categories of ACCI Artists - Active Members and Associates. As a cooperative, Active Members contribute their skills and hours in support of ACCI and our community. For the 2026-27 Fiscal Year:
- Active Members: pay $225 annual fee, required to work 36 hours per year at/for the gallery, and receive 60% commission of their retail sales.
- Associates: pay $225 annual fee, are not required to work at/for the gallery, and receive 50% commission of their retail sales.
Active Members are shareholders of the cooperative and vote on changes to the organization; Associates are not shareholders and cannot vote on changes. This is subject to change on a yearly basis. For more information on ACCI Artist categories, CLICK HERE.

We will be accepting Membership applications for Fall 2026 starting in June 2026.
- All work must be made by applicant within the last two years.
- The Jury will review the first 20 applications per session.
- Applicants will be notified of acceptance in late September.

To apply for the Fall 2026 Jury:
- Complete our online Jury Application: see form below.
- The application contains buttons to upload your C.V. (.pdf file), artist statement (.pdf file) and/or bio (.pdf file), and 10 images.
- There is a $40 non-refundable jury fee. You will be directed to pay the jury fee when you submit the application. In the interest of making our gallery accessible, please let us know if you cannot afford the jury fee. Contact Susan at 510-843-2527 or susanf@accigallery.com to discuss options.
Image specifications:
- Image files must be .jpg or .png. Do not submit .heic, .pdf, or vector files of any kind.
- Image size should be a minimum of 600 pixels wide or tall but not to exceed 1200 pixels wide or tall.
- Name your image files with Your Last Name_First Name_Image #. For example: Warhol_Andy_01.
- Your image names must correspond to the image list your provide in the jury application.
- Quality of digital images will factor into the jury's decision.
