MARKET INFO, TERMS & CONDITIONS
MARKET DATE/TIME Sunday 6 Sep 26 - 8am – 12pm
VENUE The Big Shed at Mackay Showgrounds
BUMP IN FOR SET UP Optional Saturday afternoon drop off / set up from 3.30-5pm. Shed opens for stallholders at 6.15am Sunday morning. Please be ready to trade by 7.50am.
STALL SIZE & COST Stall sites are 3m x 3m and cost $25. Please note that your stall cost is the fee to participate as a seller and we do not make any guarantees about your financial performance on the day.
STALL SPACE We kindly request that you stay within your allocated space and don’t encroach into your neighbour’s stall. If you think you will require more space to accommodate your goods, please consider booking an extra stall.
STALL SET UP Stallholders are required to supply everything they need for their stall. HC&G advocates making better choices for the environment by borrowing, making do and buying second hand and we want you to make a profit from your stall so if you do not already have what is needed to set up a stall please consider borrowing from a friend or getting creative.
WHAT YOU CAN SELL Pre-loved (second hand) wardrobe items ONLY. This includes clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery, hats, scarves and belts. All items must be of good quality with lots of life left in them.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA If you DO NOT consent to the use of your image or likeness in any photographs, videos, or other promotional materials taken at the Sweet Repeats market, please advise in writing to wendy@healthycleanandgreen.com.au BEFORE the start of the event. If written non-consent is NOT received prior to the start of the event it will be assumed that consent for use, without compensation, has been given.
ADVERTISING The more customers that attend the market, the higher the chances of you taking home MORE CASH and LESS STUFF! To get the word out there, the market will be advertised in various ways including, but not limited to:
1. On the Sweet Repeats FB page, HC&G FB page and in the HC&G newsletter
2. In multiple and various FB groups
3. On corflute signage placed around the region
Stallholders are strongly encouraged to spread the word about the market. Tell your family, friends and work colleagues. Share posts about the market on your personal FB pages. Consider printing and hanging a flyer in your workplace.
RUBBISH All stall holders are encouraged to create as little waste as possible. All rubbish on your site needs to be removed by the stall holder. No rubbish is to be left on the stallholder’s site. Currently we don't pay for rubbish removal. If the venue starts charging for that, it will be passed onto the stall holders through an increase in stallfees.
PACK DOWN The market will be advertised as open until 12pm so no stalls are to be pulled down / packed up until this time. This is important for the integrity of the market and also for safety purposes. Stall holders that choose to leave before the advertised time risk not being able to participate in future Sweet Repeat markets.
REFUNDS & TRANSFERS Please note that we are unable to offer refunds or transfers if you are a no-show on the day or can no longer make it for any reason. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise and you may have prior knowledge of being unable to attend the event as planned. Our aim is to accommodate you to the best of our ability while at the same time maintaining the integrity of our events. (If we advertise 50+ stalls we want to at the very least have 50 stalls) so with prior notice, we are happy to transfer your stall fee to the NEXT market date only.
In the unlikely event that the market is rescheduled, and you are unable to attend the new date, you have the option to transfer your stall to the NEXT market date.
In the unlikely event that the market is cancelled you will receive a refund of your stall fee less the booking fee.
