Support stamping try-out and die optimization for automotive programs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose die/panel defects and execute corrective actions
- Perform die spotting, fitting, shimming, and dimensional adjustments
- Run try-out loops and validate improvements against quality targets
- Analyze measurement reports and checking fixture data
- Support production and black body issue closure
Requirements
- 5+ years in Tool & Die (stamping environment)
- Strong die repair/adjustment and troubleshooting capability
- Skilled with precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Able to read technical drawings and work to tolerance
- OEM / Tier 1 experience preferred
