Additional Details
1. If any aggression is shown, your dog will be placed separately from the others. If that does not work, we will contact you to arrange alternative care. 2. Your dog is up to date with all shots and vaccines. Please recognize that we cannot control ticks andfleas but will do our best to address the issue should it arise. Due to the social nature of how we operate our boarding service, there are some inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to: transfer of communicable diseases such as canine cough, puppy warts, or giardia. In regards to canine cough, there are a large number of viruses or bacteria that cause upper respiratory infections in dogs, and the Bordetella vaccine only prevents some of them. If it is of utmost importance to you that your dog(s) not acquire a communicable disease, then we suggest you not take your dog(s) to boarding places, daycares, dog parks, or any other type of environment where they may be in close contact with other dogs. 3. We will only leash your dog into the dog yard. Once in the yard, they will have complete free range of the 2 acres under supervision. We may use bark collars (that only beep and in short intervals) if your dog's behavior becomes intense. We find the beep from the collar help reduce dogs aggression and calm them down to a safe, playful manner. Please let us know if you would prefer your dog to get a time out instead (which are also utilized if needed). 4. Due to the social nature of how we operate our boarding service, physical injury is a risk. These risks may include, but are not limited to: broken nails, puncture wounds, abrasions & cuts. We pay very close attention to the interactions between dogs, but sometimes accidents happen, and a dog can become injured on its own, or get injured by another dog. In any & all cases, The Good Life AK is not financially responsible for any vet bills, and I understand that I (the owner) am financially responsible (no matter what the incident) for all vet bills pertaining to the care of my own dog(s), and my own dog(s) only. 5. The daily rate of The Good Life is $50 a night. There is a 10% discount on stays 7 + nights and if there are multiple dogs - the second dog is $40, the third or more dog is $30.
