The Untitled Magazine and The Untitled Space invite artists worldwide to submit artwork for THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION, a special Collector's Print Edition and group exhibition debuting in September 2026. The opportunity celebrates visionary contemporary artists working across all mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, installation, wearable art, digital art, video art, performance art, and experimental practices.

Presented as both a print and digital publication alongside a curated exhibition at The Untitled Space gallery in Tribeca, New York, THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION invites artists to explore the limitless possibilities of the imagination — from dream states, memory, symbolism, fantasy, and subconscious worlds to visionary futures, transformation, manifestation, utopian visions, and imagined realities.

Dreams are where the most radical new visions are born. Every movement, every revolution, every masterpiece began as someone's dream.

Selected artists will be featured with 1–6 pages in The Untitled Magazine's Collector's Print and Digital Art Edition and invited to exhibit their work at The Untitled Space in New York City. Six artists will be selected for exclusive editorial features in both the print and digital editions, and one artist will be awarded THE "DREAM" ISSUE cover.

The exhibition will additionally be presented online through The Untitled Space's digital platforms, including online exhibition presentations on Artsy and Artnet, and promoted through international press outreach, social media campaigns, and special programming designed to expand visibility for participating artists.

THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION will be curated by Indira Cesarine, founder and editor-in-chief of The Untitled Magazine, founder and director of The Untitled Space, and founder of Art4Equality. Artists who submit may also be considered for future opportunities with The Untitled Space and The Untitled Magazine, including exhibitions, art fairs, editorial features, online exclusives, public art initiatives, and special projects.

The exhibition and collector's edition will debut in Fall 2026 with a special exhibition opening and launch reception at The Untitled Space in Tribeca, New York.

Indira Cesarine is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Untitled Magazine, founder and director of The Untitled Space, and founder of Art4Equality. Since launching The Untitled Space in 2015, she has curated over 100 exhibitions featuring more than 600 artists, championing both emerging and established voices through a dynamic program of exhibitions, art fairs, auctions, and special projects. Her curatorial projects and exhibitions have been featured internationally in publications including Vogue, Forbes, Newsweek, W Magazine, Dazed, Artnet, and The New York Times, among many others.

There are no additional exhibition fees if selected.

Notifications: Artists will be notified by August 7, 2026.

Exhibition Dates: September 2026 (exact dates TBD).
The Collector's Print Art Edition and Exhibition will debut in Fall 2026 at The Untitled Space in Tribeca, New York. Exact exhibition dates will be announced following artist selection.

Eligibility:

• Open to contemporary visual artists internationally.
• All ages, genders, and visual mediums are welcome.
• An application is required for all artists to be considered.
• No education or past exhibition requirements. 
• Artwork may include abstract or figurative contemporary art, photography, sculpture, mixed media, installation, digital art, wearable art, conceptual works, video art, performance art, and experimental media.
• Video and performance-based works must be accompanied by photographic stills for print publication consideration.
• Existing artwork from current collections or archives may be submitted.
• Artwork does not need to be for sale to be considered. Mark NFS for price.
• One artist per application.
• All submissions must be made through the official application form. We are unable to accept walk-ins or unsolicited submissions by email or mail.
• Selected artwork must be available in high-resolution format for print publication if confirmed.

Image Requirements:

• Please format your image files: Artist Name–Title of Artwork–Year
• Image format: JPEG only
• Minimum size: 1000 pixels; Maximum size: 2000 pixels
• Maximum file size: 2MB per image
• It is recommended to use Photoshop or a similar program to resize the images in advance. If your images are too large, the form will not submit.

• Artist Biography and Artist Statement.
• A short description of each artwork
• Basic info for each artwork, including:
  Title
  Year created
  Medium
  Dimensions
  Suggested price
  Edition size and number (if applicable)

Exhibition Requirements:

• Selected artists must make submitted works available for exhibition and publication.
• Artists are responsible for transportation of artwork to and from the gallery unless otherwise arranged.
• If your artwork requires special installation, display equipment, or handling considerations, please note this in your submission.

Sales & Commission:

• Artwork does not need to be for sale to be considered.

• For exhibited works offered for sale, The Untitled Space standard commission structure will apply.

• Commission: Selected Artists will receive 50% commission on all sales.

• Consignment Terms: Works will remain on consignment for the duration of the gallery exhibition and for an additional 60 days after the exhibition closes, to facilitate online sales and follow-up with collectors, unless otherwise agreed.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Artwork submitted to THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION must be original work created by the applicant. By submitting this application, you confirm that you are the creator of the work and that the artwork does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.

Artwork does not need to be for sale to be considered. Works marked NFS (Not For Sale) may be considered for publication and exhibition. If applicable, sales terms will be outlined in a separate consignment agreement.

Artists may submit up to 15 images for consideration. High-resolution artwork files will be requested if selected for publication.

If selected for exhibition, artists will be required to complete a separate exhibition and consignment agreement outlining exhibition dates, transportation requirements, sales terms (if applicable), and other participation details.

Artists are responsible for the transportation of artwork to and from the gallery unless otherwise arranged. Accepted artwork must arrive ready for exhibition and installation.

Submission of this application does not guarantee selection for publication or exhibition. All submission fees are non-refundable.

Terms & Conditions

- I agree to the conditions of entry, publication, and exhibition as outlined in this application.

- If selected for THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION, I agree to provide any necessary materials, including high-resolution images for publication, artwork information, and any documentation required for exhibition, promotion, and/or sales purposes.

- If selected for exhibition, I agree to deliver and collect my artwork within the timeframe specified by The Untitled Space and understand that I am responsible for transportation costs unless otherwise agreed.

- I understand that exhibited artwork must be professionally presented, ready for installation, and include any necessary hardware, installation instructions, certificates of authenticity, or return shipping materials (if applicable).

- If selected, I agree to allow The Untitled Magazine to publish my submitted artwork, artist biography, artist statement, and other approved materials in THE "DREAM" Collector's Print + Digital Art Edition and related promotional materials.

- If selected, I agree to allow The Untitled Space to publish images of my submitted artwork and related materials on its website, online viewing rooms, Artsy, Artnet, social media platforms, press materials, and other promotional channels in connection with THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION.

- I understand that if my artwork is selected for exhibition, I will be required to complete a separate exhibition and consignment agreement outlining exhibition dates, transportation requirements, sales terms, and other participation details.

- I understand that submission fees are non-refundable and that submission does not guarantee selection for publication or exhibition.

After completing the application and uploading your artwork images, click Submit to finalize your entry. You will then be directed to the payment page to process the application fee. Incomplete applications, including unpaid fees, will not be reviewed or considered for publication or exhibition.

The non-refundable submission fee helps support the curatorial review process, production, artist promotion, and administrative expenses associated with producing THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION. A portion of proceeds additionally supports Art4Equality, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to advancing equality through art, exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives.
