• Bondi Nippers Registration

    This is the first step of the registration process. Once you complete this form, you will be taken to our website to finish the registration process. Your spot in Bondi Nippers is not reserved until you have finished both steps of the registration process or received confirmation from us.

  • Under 6s, 7s, 8s and 14s registrations are now full

    Our Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 and Under 14 age groups have reached capacity for the 2026/27 season, so we are unfortunately unable to accept any further registrations for children in this age group.

  • Proficiency Swim

  • Your child must meet the proficiency requirements applicable to their Age Group before they can become a member of Bondi Nippers.

    The proficiency swim test will be done on one date only this season: Saturday, 12th September. It will be held at Cranbrook Aquatic Centre from 3-5pm and you can attend at any time during this window. Further details will be emailed to you closer to the date.

    Please get your child practicing in the pool before this date so they have the best chance of passing. If your child does not pass the proficiency test, you will be eligible for a partial refund, refer to our refund policy for more details.

  • Nippers Uniform

  • All Nippers are required to wear the following each week:

  • 1. Age Group coloured cap

    Every Nipper must have a coloured Bondi Nipper age cap (they keep the same colour cap throughout their Nippers career). New and replacement caps are all one size and are available for purchase at the proficiency swim for $10.

    2. High visibility pink rashie

    New and replacement rashies are included in the registration fees.

  • The Bondi Nippers Merchandise Stall is open Sunday mornings where you can purchase optional swimwear, towels, hats, hoodies, etc.

    You can also purchase club merchandise at our online store.

  • Registration Fees

  • Nippers:

    • 1st Nipper: $170
    • 2nd & 3rd Nipper: $140 each
    • 4th and subsequent Nippers: Free

     

    Parents / Carers (NEW REQUIREMENT IN 2026):

    Every Nipper must have at least one parent or carer registered with the Club. This provides insurance coverage while assisting with Nippers and supports the safe operation of the program.

    Children cannot participate without a registered parent or carer. 

    For parents and carers who are not already members of the Club:

    • Register as a Nipper Parent/Carer: $30

    For parents and carers who are Active, Associate or General members of the Club:

    • There is no additional fee. Your 2026/27 membership renewal already covers your parent/carer registration.

    A parent or carer must remain on the beach during all Nippers activities. 

  • Volunteering

  • Bondi Nippers is entirely volunteer run. It is a condition of registration that every family volunteer in some capacity during the season. You can find out more about these roles here.

    2. Pay your child's registration fees
    (you will pay your own fees as part of your normal member renewal process)

    If you are a member of a surf club other than Bondi, you will also need to do a full or partial transfer to Bondi and pay the Nippers Parent / Carer registration fee.

    In order to reserve a spot for your child, you need to register a parent or carer with Bondi now. Your child's spot is not reserved until you have registered as a "Nipper Parent / Carer".

    To reserve a spot, you will need to:

    1. Create a SLS Hub account for yourself
    2. Pay the Nippers Parent / Carer registration fee for yourself

    Once your child has turned 5, you will need to:

    1. Create a SLS Hub account for your child
    2. Pay the registration fee for your child

    As a Bondi member, we will reserve a spot for your child. 

    To reserve a spot, you will need to:

    1. Submit this form

    Once your child has turned 5, you will need to:

    1. Create a SLS Hub account for your child
    2. Pay the registration fee for your child

    1. Register as a Nipper Parent / Carer, if you are not already a current member of Bondi Surf Club
    2. Renew your child’s membership
