Direct Instruction Math (Pre-Algebra - Algebra 1) - This is less a self-paced class, and more small group direct instruction. If your student likes the self-paced math options, don't worry, they are not going anywhere!

3D Modeling and Printing - Students learn to create digital three-dimensional models with CAD and bring their ideas to life with 3D printing.
Beginner Computer Programming - for students with no (or almost no) experience or knowledge in coding. This would likely use a curriculum taught by our advanced programming teacher, but at a beginners level. Think about something like using Scratch to program a simple game.
Coding with Python - for students with some coding experience, or who are coding minded and very motivated to keep up with assignments.
Advanced Coding - for students who have completed another coding class and have a discussion with our coding teacher to make sure their needs can be met.
College Level Physics - Highly math based physics, similar to AP level. High school only, with math and Chemistry prerequisites.
Conceptual Physics - Understanding the "why" and "how" of physical phenomena through common examples, demonstrations, and logical reasoning.
Physical Science - A course designed to introduce early high schoolers to Chemistry and Physics concepts. This will fulfil the Physical Science requirement for accredited diploma seekers.
Middle School Science - Students will explore a variety of scientific principles using direct instruction, discussion, and experiments. This class will be less chemistry based, and more physical and life science based, but it won't entirely exclude chemistry.
Horticulture and Native Plants of Georgia - Come play in the dirt, get to know your local environment, and discover the art and science of growing plants!
Life Skills - Likely taught by a rotating group of instructors and special guests, students will learn things about basic car care, communication skills, job interview practice (and where teenagers can work), basic cooking and nutritional information, simple clothing repair, budgeting, and more.
Current Events and the Impact on Society: Breaking news! This course will explore a variety of topics regarding technology, ethics, society, and the impact of changes on our community.
Music Theory - Learn the ins and ours of how music strikes that perfect chord in a practical theory class.
Music History - A look at the development of music and how we got here.
Harp 101 - A group harp class for anyone who's ever wanted to give it a shot!
Acoustic Guitar 101 - A basic introduction including instrument familiarity, chord building and more.
Critical Thinking - Explores persuasion and propaganda techniques, as well as the ways that critical thinking can help us deal with information presented by mass media by looking at rhetorical analysis, argument building, and logical fallacies.
Modern and Contemporary Art History - Students look at visual artists from the Cubism movement through Global Contemporary art, examining the artists and social / historical issues contributing to their work.
Art and Activism - Learn about historic examples and experiment for yourself - how can your creativity and expression inspire social change?
Photography - Intro level class that builds basic camera skills, photo composition and design, the editing process and more. Fulfills Fine Art credit for high schoolers.
Group Art Therapy - Led by a licensed clinical professional counselor, students recieve support and group counseling around daily life and big transitions (home life, graduation, an upcoming move, etc) while stretching their creative muscles. As a non-academic support class, this will not appear on transcripts/report cards and tuition will be set at our core class rate of $445/semester.
