Fight2Feed® "A Seat at the Table" Gala Committee

Fight2Feed® is seeking passionate leaders, professionals, and community advocates to help shape our inaugural "A Seat at the Table" Gala in November 2027 (Date Saturday 11/6 or 11/13 TBC) our signature annual fundraising event benefiting hunger relief, food rescue, and community impact.
Our goal is to raise $500,000 to expand Fight2Feed®'s mission of rescuing food, reducing waste, and feeding neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Achieving that goal requires a dedicated team of volunteers who can contribute their expertise, relationships, creativity, and enthusiasm. Successful galas rely on committees with clearly defined responsibilities and leadership, rather than one planning group.
Committee Mission
The Gala Committee serves as ambassadors for Fight2Feed®, helping secure sponsors, auction items, guests, volunteers, and community awareness while assisting with the planning and execution of an unforgettable fundraising experience.
Fundraising Goal: $500,000
Expected Attendance: 300–350 guests
Committee Member Expectations
Committee members are asked to:
- Attend monthly planning meetings (bi-weekly during final 90 days)
- Promote the gala through personal and professional networks
- Assist in securing sponsors and auction packages
- Invite guests and encourage table sales
- Volunteer during event week and event day
- Serve as ambassadors for Fight2Feed® before, during, and after the event
- Participate in post-event evaluation
Estimated Commitment
3–6 hours per month
8–15 hours during event month
Our Goal
Every ticket sold, sponsorship secured, auction item donated, and guest invited helps Fight2Feed® rescue more food, prepare more nutritious meals, and serve more families in need.
