• College Night Out 2026

  • We invite businesses and organizations to showcase their services and connect with college students and local educators during College Night Out on Thursday, August 27, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at Bell Tower Green (120 S. Church St.).

    College Night Out is hosted by Hood Theological Seminary, Catawba College, Livingstone College, and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in partnership with the City of Salisbury’s Economic and Downtown Development Department and Downtown Salisbury, Inc.

    This exciting community event offers free activities for local students while introducing them to downtown Salisbury and creating valuable networking opportunities between students, educators, institutions, and local businesses.

    Interested vendors are invited to complete the Vendor Application Form to reserve a 10' x 10' vendor space at Bell Tower Green.

    Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 29

    Vendor spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be reviewed, and acceptance notifications will be sent to the email address provided on the application by Friday, July 31.

    • Non-profits outside of the Municipal Service District (MSD) - $30

      The vendor fee will be turned into Downtown Dollars to be given out to students at the event. Gift baskets will be given out as prizes for games during the event. Thank you for supporting Downtown Salisbury and our local colleges.

    • Tents most have 40 pounds of weight per leg. You will be asked to remove the tent if it does not have 40 pounds of weight. This is a Fire Marshall policy.

    • Colleges select and invite food trucks to this event. No other food trucks will be allowed at the event.
    • No alcohol, tobacco, CBD or THC products to be sold or given away during this event.

  • The Fine Print - Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

    I, the signer of this electronic form, (“Releasor”) acknowledge having this day entered into an agreement with the City of Salisbury to perform work for the City of Salisbury, does hereby take full responsibility for their personal safety and property, and waives their right to seek worker’s compensation against the City of Salisbury and damage to their personal property.

    And in consideration of this allowance, I do hereby release and forever discharge the City of Salisbury, its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims, actions, and liabilities associated with this permitted activity.  The intention hereof being to completely, absolutely, and finally execute a hold harmless agreement to release the City of Salisbury from all liabilities arising wholly or partially from the aforementioned activity by way of subrogation or otherwise, for any loss or damages.   

    By signing this document, I agree to hold harmless Releasees from all liabilities arising wholly or partially from the activity by way of subrogation or otherwise, for any loss or damages.

    I understand that this release shall bind myself and each of my respective heirs, personal representatives, successors, and assigns and shall inure to the benefit of the Releasees. This Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
