    June 6th, 9am-12pm, North Mississippi Regional Park
  • Join local experts and naturalists for a walk through North Mississippi Regional Park to learn identification tips and tricks for plants, insects, birds and more, and use the community science tool iNaturalist to document our findings.

    After the walk, we'll contribute to artist Lilly Crawford's beautiful collaborative map of North Mississippi Regional Park by adding our observations!

    Schedule:

    8:30 - 9am: iNaturalist Crash Course- If you're curious how to use iNaturalist, come a little early to learn some tips and tricks from iNaturalist ambassador, Meghan Cassidy.

    9 - 11am Survey walk through the park with local experts

    11am - 12pm Collaborative art project - Map of North Mississippi
