Yay! We are so excited to have you be a part of Westport's July 4th and America's 250th parade! This is a joyful community event, and all participants must keep their participation kid friendly, safe and free from political agenda. Here are some ground rules and details:
- Lineup is at 11am at the Essex County Fairgrounds
- Parade begins at 12pm
- All participants must keep floats kid-friendly and safe
- No profanity or tire burnouts. Children are often on the frontlines of the parade, lining the streets, and vehicles can easily get out of control.
- No political agenda allowed.
- Have fun and enjoy your creativity!
