  • Please fill out the form below and click submit to apply

NOTE: This form replaces the budget request form that some have filled out prior to 2025. The money for these grants comes from outside the dioceses' operating budget. This form is encrypted to keep your information safe.
  • To have your grant application considered for next year, please complete this grant application form. This is a general form, and this information helps determine if the grant can be awarded, and from which category the funds may come from. The five categories of grants available are explained below. If you are unsure of the category, choose the best option.

If you are submitting a request from more than one category, you will need to fill out a grant application for each category.

Please know that while you may request a specific dollar amount, the amount awarded may differ depending on the grant applications received, the scope of the project, and the funds available in the particular grant category.

Please complete and submit this form and required materials by September 1, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact Lucy Saldana at lucy@realepiscopal.org or 831-394-4465.

  • All grant applications are reviewed by a Grants Committee who review the request and the required documents. You may be contacted for additional information, if needed. Consideration of your application includes meeting the Good Standing requirements and including the required documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered by the Grants Committee. Late applications will not be considered.

Should your grant be awarded, you will be notified before Diocesan Convention, and the award will be announced at the convention. If you have questions, you may respectfully contact Lucy Saldana for information.

You will receive a letter in late November/early December that details the amount awarded, the purpose of the grant awarded, the timetable for distribution of funds, and the documentation needed to account for the award. Those who are not awarded grants will receive an explanation. Those receiving grants in the Missional category will be contacted in December by the Missional Grants leadership for an additional requirement specific to Missional Grants.

NOTE: the General Purpose category is not included in the granting process, as those funds are designated to support general diocesan expenses.
