2026 Beyond Film School Short Film Challenge!
Thank you for applying to the 2026 Beyond Film School Short Film Challenge! Very excited for the 4th year of the Film Challenge!The Challenge was created to provide opportunity to all Beyond Film School Alumni to gain experience in a film role they aspire to be. With the guidance of industry professionals in a safe environment. The Challenge will give the participants a chance to create a short film that they can feel proud to have accomplished. We are so happy to be expanding this Challenge to Reelworks/Media Makers, Stockade Works Alumni & followers of Beyond Film School this year. It also serves as a way for the alumni to make film industry connections, produce footage for their reel or website, and receive credit on IMDB.com. By utilizing problem solving skills, leadership and communication you will come to understand how a short film is accomplished. This application serves as the main tool for the challenge organizers to choose the teams fairly, and to figure out the best and most equal teams possible. When applying, think about the resources you can bring to your team. You would be surprised what your team might be able to use.

What You Can Bring to Your Team!
List all of the resources you can bring to your team.
Examples: Own your own car and can drive people and equipment/do pick ups, access to Locations for free. Your own Equipment (specify what type of equipment) Access to a lot of people willing to be Background. Access to actors, Access to people that want to be on your crew, Ways to feed your crew (Know someone that can provide/donate crafty.) Software for editing, scheduling, or scriptwriting, Microphones/Sound Equipment,Hard Drives for the editor, Can you design the Movie Poster? Can you do BTS of the shoot? Can you Print things for you team? These are some examples. Anything that you can come up with that you think could help your team list it here!
