The 224 EcoSpace hosts exhibitions throughout the year in two spaces. Our Collaboration Center, a 5000 square foot multi-use event space is home to large group exhibitions and an occasional solo opportunity. Our smaller gallery, which has roughly 100 square feet of available wallspace, is dedicated to small-scale solo exhibitions. All exhibitions include a reception with lite refreshments and promotion through our social media and email newsletter.
The 224 EcoSpace requests a 25% commission on all exhibition sales to support our continued efforts to serve as a space for visual artists in need of venues to display their work. Artists will receive a check for the remaining 75% at the end of the exhibition. We also ask that featured artists in solo exhibtions participate in an artist talk. We often receive inquiries about art on display and want to give viewers an opportunity to engage with artists directly.
