Class Placement

All class placements are determined by the dancer’s age as of September 1. This cutoff date applies to every dancer and is not adjusted for birthdays later in the season. Dancers remain in their assigned level for the full season unless the studio initiates a change.

Recital Information 2026 - 2027
Please read the following information that pertains to our performance. These are important dates, so remember to mark them on your calendar.

Fall Session:

Mandatory Studio Rehearsal November 16, 17, 18 of 2026.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal November 20, 2026

Recital November 21, 2026.

Spring Session:

Mandatory Studio Rehearsal May 17,18, 19 of 2027.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal May 21, 2027

Recital May 22, 2027.

Performance Package fee cover the individual dancers’ class costume, tights, and costume accessories and alterations. Please Note: THIS FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR MONTHLY TUITION.

Payments towards the Performance Package Fees can be made any time once the season starts.

Full payments are due by:

10/01/2026 for Fall Showcase

03/01/2027 for Spring Recital

If your student will not be participating in the performance, please email the studio by:

Policies
I have read, understand, and agree to abide by all policies of the Dance Factory of New Smyrna Beach, Inc. including tuition, late fees, health & safety, costumes and all recital policies detales in the recital handbook. I understand that participation in a dance program involves risk and possible injury. I authorize Dance Factory of New Smyrna Beach, Inc. to secure any necessaary emergency medical treatment in the event of an accident. I agree to indemnify and hold harless the Dance Factory of New Smyrna Beach, Inc., its staff and property owner from any and all claims related to personal injury while participating in this program, including traveling to and from the facility, inside or outside the facility and all studio events. I also give permission for Dance Factory of New Smyrna Beach, Inc. to take photos of me or my child to use for purposes of promoting the academy. All imagery including, but not limited to, photographs and video recordings of a student is the sole property of Dance Factory of New Smyrna Beach, Inc. Dance Factory of New Smyrna Beach, Inc. reserves the right to cancel classes if enrollment falls below the expected number of enrollments.
