This Studio Services Agreement is made between Samuel Fitzgerald / Open Sessions ("Studio") and Client.
By booking services with the Studio, the Client agrees to the following terms:

• A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure the project start date.
• Standard project rates (all services induded):
• $300 - 1 Song
• $550 - 2 Songs
• $750 - 3 Songs
• Each song indudes 3 studio sessions, up to 6 hours per session, strictly for recording and tracking. All editing, mixing, and mastering take place after the recording sessions are completed.
• If additional time is required beyond the included sessions, extra studio time may be purchased at $30/hour.
• Services can be purchased individually for the clients needs:
• Recording ($150 - x2 sessions of 6 hours each or x1 session of 12 hours (total of 12 hours))
• Mixing ($125)
• Mastering ($60)
• A Custom Song is $400 per instrumental produced by Open Sessions.
• Instrumental includes the artists choice of programmed drums, guitar/bass and keyboard recordings.
• Instrumentalists can be out sourced by Open Sessions for authentic tracks. Rates are determined by the instrumentalist separate form Open Sessions. Instrumentalists will quote the artist for song prior to the recording of the song. Instrumentalists will be paid by the artist separately or by money transferred from the artist to Open Sessions with the intention of paying the instrumentalist. *Artist must request outsourced instrumentalists prior to the commencement of the project*.
• Optional Consultation/ Studio Tour: Clients may request a complimentary consultation and studio tour prior to booking to discuss artist vision, questions and to ensure a suitable fit between dient and producer.

• Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any session.
• Cancellations within 48 hours or failure to attend a scheduled session will count as one full session.
• "No-show" sessions cannot be refunded or transferred.

• Each song indudes 2 rounds of mix revisions.
• Any additional revisions will be billed at $75 per revision.
• Revisions refer to changes on an existing mix. Major structural changes (new takes, arrangement edits, new production elements) may require additional studio time billed at the hourly rate.

• Turnaround times vary based on the size and complexity of the project.
• An estimated completion timeline will be provided at the start of the project and may be adjusted to ensure quality.
• Rush services may be available upon request at an additional cost.

• Final mixes/masters will be delivered after the remaining project balance is paid in full.
• Client will receive:
• Final master (WAV)
• High-quality MP3
• Instrumental and performance mixes upon request
• Stems available at no extra cost unless requested after project closure

• The Client agrees to arrive on time and prepared for all booked sessions.
• The Client is responsible for backing up any files delivered to them.
• The Studio is not responsible for storing project files indefinitely after final delivery.

• The Studio/Engineer must receive production credit on all released versions of the music.
• Suggested wording: "Produced, Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by Samuel Fitzgerald / Open Sessions."
• Credits must appear anywhere credits are typically shown (digital platforms, liner notes, YouTube descriptions, etc.).
• Royalties will be paid out to Open Sessions Music Studio at 5% of net revenue of the project. Royalty percentages can be negotiated prior to commencement of studio project with artist/label. Royalties will be paid out to Open Sessions once the project has reached a net revenue of $1000 CAD.
• Promotional Use of Sample Clip: The Studio may use a short sample dip (up to 30 seconds) of the final or near-final mix for promotional purposes only on the Open Sessions website or social media. The sample will not be sold, distributed as a full song, or used for any purpose other than showcasing the Studio's work. If the Client has a confidentiality requirement or an upcoming label release that restricts early sharing, they must notify the Studio in writing before mixing begins.

• Music delivered to the artist made for download may no longer be refunded.
• If the client is unsatisfied with any of the services provided by Open Sessions, 50% deposit will not be refunded.
• 50% deposit is used to secure work with Open Sessions and does not equate to partial ownership of recordings or production developed by Open Sessions.

By signing below, the Client acknowledges they have read and understood this Agreement and agree to all terms listed above.
