On Saturday, August 8th, 2026, 250 kids and teens (K-12) start the year right with new tennis shoes, hoodies, school supplies, and backpacks. We would love to have you join us!

This event happens rain or shine, and we need your help to make this event a success.

Volunteer Details:

Sign-Up: Please pick one time slot below. If you're coming with friends, please have everyone fill out thier own form.

Orientation: Join our manditory virtual volunteer Orientation on Monday, August 3rd. This orientation is from 6:30-7:15 pm and will help you learn logistics and what to expect when you volunteer.

Age: This event is for volunteers 18+ only please. (Clearances are not required for our Back 2 School Event.)

Location: Foster Love Project - 463 S. Trenton Ave. Pittsburgh 15221 (Our back parking lot.)

Attention:

You wil receive a Foster Love Project t-shirt to wear upon your arrival. The event will be held outdoors and we suggest wearing lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.

**To keep things fun and full of variety, our volunteers will rotate to different stations throughout each shift! This event involves standing and moving between areas, so you will get a great look at everything happening behind the scenes.
