Welcome to the Nash County Run Club!
By participating in any of our runs, walks, or community events, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation in any run, walk, or event organized by the Nash County Run Club is completely voluntary.
2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that running, walking, and outdoor fitness activities in group settings is a potentially hazardous activity. I assume all risks associated with this activity, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, traffic, road conditions and other hazards.
3. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Nash County Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, affiliates and city/county municipalities from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation.
4. Personal Responsibility
I agree to:
• Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
• Run or walk at my own pace and ability
• Stay aware of my surroundings
• Bring my own water and hydration if needed
5. Health Acknowledgment
I confirm that I am physically able to participate and have no medical condition that would prevent me from safely engaging in physical activity.
6. Medical Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Nash County Run Club to seek medical assistance on my behalf, if necessary.
7. Photo & Media Release
I give permission for photos/videos taken during events to be used on social media and promotional materials for the Nash County Run Club.
8. Community Nature of Club
I understand that the Nash County Run Club is a casual, community-based group and not a professional coaching or medical organization.
9. Minors, Strollers & Pets
If I bring a minor, stroller, or pet, I accept full responsibility for their supervision, safety, and control, assume all related risks, and release the Nash County Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, affiliates and city/county municipalities from any claims or liabilities. Participants under the age of 18 are not allowed to participate without a parent or guardian.
By participating, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver. I acknowledge that the Nash County Run Club is not responsible for any personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the event.
