Join Marco Derrien (France) for an exclusive full-day workshop focused on modern competition and commercial bouldering design.

Designed for current route-setters and experienced setters, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to learn directly from a setter operating at an international level. Throughout the day, Marco will share his approach to movement creation, difficulty progression, competition setting, hold selection, and designing climbs that are both memorable and competition ready. 

Participants will work directly with hundreds of brand new holds from Supr, Unleashed and Contact Holds, setting, testing, analysing and discussing boulders alongside Marco while receiving direct feedback on their work.

Expect in-depth discussions around:

• Modern route-setting trends and philosophies
• Creating intentional and memorable movement
• Competition versus commercial setting
• Difficulty management and progression
• Hold selection and movement design
• The details that separate good climbs from great ones
