  • Program Overview
    The MDS-ES Grow Together in Clinical-Science Pilot Program aims to foster long-term collaboration between clinical and basic science trainees in movement disorders through mentorship, exchange visits, and translational project development.

    Applicants must apply as a pair, consisting of:
    - One Clinical Resident (MD)
    - One Basic Science Trainee (PhD Student or Postdoctoral Fellow – 1st year)

    Selected participant pairs will complete a collaborative translational project under the guidance of a senior MDS-ES mentor. Each accepted pair will receive a grant of up to $3,000 USD to support travel costs associated with institutional exchange visits.

  • If no mentor is proposed, the Program Oversight Sub-Committee will assign an appropriate mentor, and the applicants will complete the mentor engagement plan as an addendum to the application.
