CHW Scholarship Application

IPHA is proud to announce a new scholarship opportunity for CHWs! Thanks to Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), we are awarding ten (10) scholarships to cover the cost of registration for Community Health Workers who work in Sangamon County, Illinois. Eligible applicants for the conference scholarship include practicing CHWs, individuals enrolled in a CHW 101 training course, and those completing their CHW field experience.

Applications are due Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM CDT.

To determine eligibility, please answer the following questions:
Are you currently working as or completing training as a Community Health Worker in Sangamon County, IL?

Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this scholarship opportunity. However, we do have another option if you need financial assistance.

IPHA may have limited funds to provide scholarships to cover registration and travel costs for students, community health workers, and other local public health professionals who might not otherwise be able to attend. Scholarship applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:59 PM CDT.
