• Curbside Mattress and Box Spring Pick Up

  • The City of Fridley is piloting a curbside mattress and box spring pick up program with funding from a Waste Reduction Grant from Anoka Couty. Mattresses will be collected from your home on October 17 or 18 by Better Futures Minnesota to be recycled for no cost. Only Fridley properties are eligible, limit four pieces per property. Only the items included in your request are eligible; other items left at the curb will not be collected.

  • Program conditions

    • Mattresses and boxsprings must be placed at the curb no earlier than 5:30 p.m. on the day before your scheduled pick up and no later than 6:30 a.m. on the scheduled pick up day.
    • Items must be placed on the curb on your pickup date; we are not able accommodate alternate dates or times
    • Applications will be processed in the order they were received; participation will be limited to the first 100 pieces requested
    • You will be notified if your request is approved; more specific directions will be provided upon approval
    • Only Fridley properties are eligible
    • Limit four pieces per households
    • Mattresses and boxsprings only; no sleeper sofas, bed frames, or couches
    • Items soiled with bodily fluids cannot be accepted.
    • The City reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event
