Thank you for volunteering for the Independence Day Block Party! We couldn't host events like this without the incredible support of our volunteers.

As a thank-you for your time, volunteers will receive:

🎆 An Asheville Downtown hat

⚾ An invitation to our Volunteer Appreciation Night at an Asheville Tourists game in August

🍻 Two drink tickets to enjoy during the event (after your shift)
- Please note that July 4 is expected to be a hot day. Be sure to dress appropriately, wear sunscreen, and stay hydrated throughout your shift. We'll have water available, but we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle as well.
- Check-in: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled shift and check in at the orange Asheville Downtown Association tent located at 136 Coxe Avenue.
- Volunteering as a Group? If your nonprofit, community group, club, or organization would like to volunteer together, we'd love to have you!
  - Groups that recruit 20 volunteers (21+) for the event will receive a $1,000 donation to support their cause. For more information about group volunteering, please contact info@ashevilledowntown.org.Thank you for helping us create a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day celebration in Downtown Asheville!
