  • SWADE Nonprofit Organization Youth Football Camp Rules, Regulations & Exceptions ⸻ CAMP MISSION The SWADE Youth Football Camp is designed to provide a safe, positive, educational, and fun environment where participants can develop football skills, build confidence, learn teamwork, and demonstrate good sportsmanship. ⸻ PARTICIPANT RULES (YOUTH) General Conduct 1. Treat coaches, volunteers, staff, parents, vendors, and fellow campers with respect. 2. Follow all coach and staff instructions immediately. 3. Remain with your assigned age group at all times. 4. Use appropriate language and behavior. 5. Display good sportsmanship during all drills, games, and activities. Safety Rules 1. No tackling, roughhousing, fighting, or horseplay outside designated drills. 2. Report injuries immediately to a coach or staff member. 3. Hydration breaks are mandatory. 4. Proper athletic shoes and clothing must be worn. 5. Participants must stay within camp boundaries unless accompanied by staff or a parent/guardian. Equipment Rules 1. Camp equipment must be used properly. 2. Participants are responsible for personal belongings. 3. Equipment may not be removed from camp grounds without permission. Behavioral Expectations 1. No bullying, teasing, harassment, or intimidation. 2. No physical altercations. 3. No disruptive behavior during instruction. 4. Respect all facilities and property. ⸻ PARENT/GUARDIAN RULES Registration Requirements 1. All registration forms must be completed before participation. 2. Emergency contact information must be provided. 3. Medical conditions, allergies, and accommodations must be disclosed before camp begins. Drop-Off & Pick-Up 1. Parents must sign participants in and out when required. 2. Campers may only leave with approved individuals listed on registration forms. 3. Prompt drop-off and pick-up are expected. Sideline Conduct 1. Parents are expected to model positive sportsmanship. 2. Coaching from the sidelines is discouraged. 3. Unsportsmanlike behavior toward officials, coaches, volunteers, or participants will not be tolerated. EXCEPTIONS & ACCOMMODATIONS Medical Exceptions Participants with: * Asthma * Diabetes * Physical limitations * Allergies * Other medical conditions may participate with proper documentation and emergency action plans provided by parents/guardians. Behavioral Accommodations SWADE will make reasonable accommodations for participants with: * ADHD * Learning disabilities * Developmental disabilities * Other special needs when information is provided in advance. Weather Exceptions Camp leadership reserves the right to: * Modify activities * Move activities indoors * Delay or cancel sessions * Adjust schedules due to weather or safety concerns Participation Restrictions Camp leadership may restrict participation in certain drills if: * A participant is injured * A participant displays unsafe behavior * Medical concerns arise ⸻ DISCIPLINARY PROCESS For Participants 1st Incident * Verbal warning * Coaching intervention 2nd Incident * Parent notification * Temporary removal from activity 3rd Incident * Meeting with Camp Director and Parent Severe Misconduct May result in immediate dismissal for: * Fighting * Bullying * Threats * Possession of weapons * Repeated unsafe behavior For Adults Violations by coaches, staff, volunteers, or vendors may result in: * Verbal warning * Written warning * Removal from duties * Immediate dismissal from the event ⸻ CAMP DIRECTOR AUTHORITY The Camp Director and SWADE Leadership reserve the right to: * Modify schedules * Reassign groups * Address safety concerns * Remove participants, volunteers, vendors, or spectators whose behavior jeopardizes the safety or success of the camp
