  • In order to be eligible to receive MEDIA credentials, you MUST...

    • Be associated with or on assignment for a recognized publication, news service, website, radio or television station.
    • Submit a letter of assignment, on the assigning company's letterhead, with the request for Media credentials.
    • Submit a copy of a published article or photograph resulting from your attendance at the 2024 or 2025 Hampton Classic or a copy of an article already published about the 2026 Hampton Classic.

  • To ensure that those receiving Media Credentials are bona fide members of the media and to maintain eligibility for the following year, you MUST provide a letter of assignment and proof of publication.

  • Any commercial photography, or advertisement thereof, taken of competition without prior written consent from event management is expressly forbidden. Providing complimentary photos to exhibitors is also prohibited. The Hampton Classic requires all professional photographers to apply for an Independent Photographer pass if they plan to sell OR GIVE their photos to exhibitors. An Independent Photographer pass is distinct and separate from a Media credential. A media credential grants permission for a photographer to shoot photos for use by their assigning media outlet ONLY and does not allow the sale or any other use of photos taken at the Hampton Classic. Violation of these rules will be grounds for immediate removal from the premises and possible legal action.

  • GRAND PRIX TENT ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 30

    Media wishing to gain access to the VIP tent on Grand Prix Sunday must first attend a MANDATORY meeting on Sunday morning, August 30 with key personnel and security. 

     

    Media will be given access to the VIP tent for a limited time to be discussed at the meeting. Media must sign in and out, failure to do so will result in denial of access for the following year (this also applies to official media partners including those that receive VIP access as part of their sponsorship agreement).

  • By signing below, the approved MEDIA member and the MEDIA outlet he/she represents agree that they shall indemnify and hold Hampton Classic Horse Show, Inc. and all its employees, agents, and connections harmless from and against any and all claims for injury, loss of life, or damage to or loss of use of property caused or alleged to be caused, by actions of the approved MEDIA member, its employees, and invitees on or about the premises and which arise out of the MEDIA member's performance, or failure to perform as specified in this Agreement.

    In submitting this form, I acknowledge that the decision of who does or does not receive a MEDIA credential is at the sole discretion of the Hampton Classic organizing committee and I agree that should I be granted a MEDIA credential  to the Hampton Classic, I will follow all of the event's policies and procedures.
