• Before Care/After Care Program Guidelines & Registration 2026-2027

  • St. John’s offers our BEFORE & AFTER CARE programs for our school families, during regular days of school. You must register your child(ren) to use these programs – there is a registration fee of $25.00 per child which will be applied to your Blackbaud account.

    BEFORE CARE hours are 7:00-7:45am Monday- Friday on school days. It is held in the school multi-purpose room daily when school is in session.

    AFTER CARE hours are after regular school days 3:00-6:00pm, Wednesdays 2:00-6:00p.m. It will be held in the school multi-purpose room. After care is not designed to be an extension of the school day, nor is it a tutoring program, (it is not designed to be educational). It is a safe place for students to wait after school for their parents to pick them up, while playing and having fun. Children will play outside (weather permitting), and space and time will be provided for students who wish to do their homework. Please send a snack and drink with your child to enjoy while at After Care. Please mark the snack for aftercare.

  • Payment Terms

  • Before Care - $5.00 per student per day flat fee

    After Care - $7.00 per student per hour (billed by the quarter hour) 

    $1.00 charge per minute per student for any time after 6:00pm 

     

    Parents are required to register their children to use either Before Care/After Care program prior to using it. There is an annual $25.00 per child registration fee which will be applied to your Blackbaud account.

    You will be billed monthly for the times you have used either program. Your bill will be sent via email after the last day of each month. You may review your hours/days used. Payment is due upon receipt of your billing email. Excessive late payments or failure to pay may result in removal from the program.

  • Emergency Procedure Acknowledgement 

  • If a medical emergency arises, St. John’s personnel will try to reach a parent.

    If immediate medical attention is required, the staff will call 911.

    Please be sure to keep us updated on phone number changes.

  • Discipline Policy Acknowledgement 

  • Children will be expected to abide by classroom rules. 

    The discipline process is:

    First offense:       After Care personnel speak with child.

    Second offense: After Care personnel speak with child and parent.

    Third offense:     Child will be sent to the principal’s office which may result in suspension from the program.

  • Technology Policy Acknowledgement 

  • Handheld video games are permitted – however, St. John’s School, After Care personnel and St. John’s assumes no responsibility for lost/broken items. 

    If your child carries a cell phone it must remain on SILENT in their backpack.  Children with cell phones will not be allowed to use their phones to play games.
