WAIVER & RELEASE
By joining The Running Centre Pty Ltd events (“TRC Run Club”), I acknowledge:
1. Participation in running activities involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, injury, illness, accidents, property loss and in rare cases death. I understand that these risks may arise from my own actions or omissions, the actions or omissions of others, environmental conditions, equipment failure or the condition of roads, paths, terrain, facilities or participation locations.
2. I participate voluntarily and acknowledge that I do so entirely at my own risk.
3. I declare that I am in good health and physically fit to participate in TRC Run Club events.
4. I hereby release and discharge The Running Centre Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors, volunteers and affiliated entities from all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for any personal injury, loss or damage (including but not limited to death, disability or personal injury) suffered by me arising out of or in connection with my participation.
5. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Running Centre Pty Ltd, it’s directors, employees, contractors, volunteers and affiliated entities against any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, proceedings, costs, and expenses (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) of whatsoever nature which may be taken or made against The Running Centre Pty Ltd arising from my participation, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or unlawful conduct.
6. I consent to being added to the TRC Run Club email list to get updates, including collabs, wear test events and instore promotions.
7. I consent to The Running Centre Pty Ltd using photographs or videos collected during training or events for legitimate business and promotional purposes, unless I notify the photographer or The Running Centre Pty Ltd staff that I do not consent.
8. I am 18 years or older OR as a parent or guardian of the participant under 18, I agree to the above myself and on behalf of the participant and I indemnify and keep indemnified any person or body directly or indirectly associated with TRC Run Club.
