ChronoScape is a curated visual arts exhibition inviting artists to submit works that explore the human fascination with time travel—both real and imagined. From ancient civilizations to speculative futures, this show encourages artists to traverse the timelines of human experience, science fiction, memory, mythology, and the unknown.
Time travel is a powerful narrative device and philosophical idea. It asks us to examine who we are, where we've come from, and where we might be going. This exhibit welcomes diverse interpretations of time travel, whether rooted in:
- Historical journeys or lost civilizations
- Mythic time loops and ancestral memory
- Steampunk, cyberpunk, or dystopian/utopian futures
- Scientific dreams and speculative technology
- Personal time travel through memory, artifacts, or generational legacy
Artists may submit work that represents a single moment in time or a continuum—works that blend the past and future, or challenge the very notion of linear time.

ChronoScape: Artistic Explorations of Time Travel is open to all area artists. Del Ray Artisans members pay a lower entry fee. If you are not a member, you may join Del Ray Artisans now.
Entry to this exhibit is by online submission. Art may be two- or three-dimensional, and in any medium. No strict size limits, but please be considerate of other artists and the physical limits of the gallery before entering oversized pieces. Oversized pieces of merit will be accepted if space permits. If submitting a multi-piece 2D artwork (such as a diptych or triptych), all parts must be framed together into one piece unless cleared in advance with the curator. Art should be ready to hang or display with wire and screw eyes, mounting and/or display stand, framed, matted, or with edges finished. We cannot show work that is not ready for exhibition. If your artwork hanging system varies greatly from this example, contact the curators. See DelRayArtisans.org/exhibits/art-guidelines for additional details.
