Inspired by the Archibald prize, the Upwey Archies is a community portrait exhibition that invites artists of all ages and abilities to submit an original artwork featuring a local person that feels significant to them or the community.

Entry fees must be paid when you collect your board.

Completed artworks must be delivered to Burrinja by 4th October to be included in the exhibition. Burrinja is open 10am- 4pm Wed- Sun.

All artworks must have your name, artwork title, category (ie Open or Youth) and email address on the back.

Artwork must be dry- NO WET PAINT or sealed in the case of pastel or charcoal to avoid damage to the work.

The artwork will be displayed in Upwey Main Street from 15th October until 6th November, followed by an exhibition at Burrinja from Saturday 12th- 22nd November.

Please join us for the award presentation ceremony at Burrinja on Thursday November 12th at 6pm.
