The Program is establishing a new style of play and system as well as standards, and values that are designed to achieve it's vision of developing a successful program. It will pursue teaching players and coaches beneficial skills for life on AND off the basketball floor. As we strive for professionalism and excellence we pursue people of high character that are willing to invest in all aspects of Rockhampton Basketball. Successful applicants will be vital in facilitating athletes through the elite junior basketball pathway, whilst also being able to further their own vocations in the established coach’s pathway.
Important notes to all applicants
· Applicants are required to be available for all representative training sessions, as scheduled by the RBI
· Applicants are required to be available for travel throughout the State for NQJBC & CQJBC rounds and State Champs
· You will need to “buy-in” to the Rockhampton Basketball Coaching community, system, style of play and adhere to the RBI code of conduct and Association program, values & standards.
· All RBI coaching positions receive an expense payment to help with covering costs of the role throughout the season. RBI will provide coaches with a document outlining reimbursement options.
· Applicants are required to obtain a Blue Card (if you have a current Blue Card you must present it to the RBI Administrator. If you have applied for a Blue Card you must supply a copy of the receipt to the Basketball Administrator.
