Noble Park Netball Club - Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Fees:
1.1. All participants must complete the online registration form and provide accurate, current, and complete information as required by the Club, SDNA, and Netball Victoria.
1.2. Registration is confirmed only once full payment of registration fees is received.
1.3. Fees are non-refundable, except under special circumstances as outlined in the Refund Policy (see Section 6). Refund policies are in accordance with SDNA and Netball Victoria guidelines.
1A. Trials:
1A.1. Trial registrations are open to prospective players seeking to join Noble Park Netball Club and participate in an assessment period prior to full registration.
1A.2. Participation in trials does not guarantee selection or placement in a team. Final decisions are made by Club selectors and coaching staff in accordance with the Club’s selection criteria.
1A.3. All trial participants must complete the Club’s trial registration form and provide emergency contact and medical information prior to participation.
1A.4. Trialists are covered by limited insurance through Netball Victoria during the trial period; however, full insurance coverage requires completion of full registration and payment.
1A.5. No fee is charged for trials unless otherwise stated. If a trial fee is applicable, it will be communicated prior to the trial date and is non-refundable.
1A.6. By attending trials, participants and their guardians agree to comply with all health, safety, and conduct standards outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility:
2.1. Participants must meet the age and eligibility requirements as set by the Club, SDNA, and Netball Victoria.
2.2. The Club reserves the right to request proof of age and eligibility, following the protocols of Netball Victoria.
3. Code of Conduct:
3.1. All players, parents, guardians, coaches, and spectators are required to adhere to the Club’s Code of Conduct, as well as the codes outlined by SDNA and Netball Victoria.
3.2. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, abusive, or in violation of these codes may lead to disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, following the disciplinary procedures set by SDNA and Netball Victoria.
3.3. The Noble Park Netball Club Executive Committee reserves the right to review and sanction any disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the Club. Such actions may be taken in response to breaches of the Club’s Code of Conduct or any behavior deemed detrimental to the Club’s values and operations.
4. Health and Safety:
4.1. Participants must inform the Club of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect their participation.
4.2. The Club recommends participants seek medical clearance before engaging in netball activities, as per Netball Victoria guidelines.
4.3. In the event of an injury or medical emergency during training or games, the Club may provide basic first aid and, if necessary, call for further medical assistance. The Club follows the safety protocols established by SDNA and Netball Victoria.
5. Insurance:
5.1. Participants are covered by the insurance policy provided through their registration with Netball Victoria. Additional personal insurance is encouraged.
5.2. The Club is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained outside the coverage of the Netball Victoria insurance policy.
6. Refund Policy:
6.1. Registration fees are non-refundable except under the following circumstances:
- Severe injury or illness preventing participation (medical certificate required).
- Cancellation of the season by the Club, SDNA, or Netball Victoria.
6.2. Any approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval and may be subject to administrative fees, in line with SDNA and Netball Victoria policies.
7. Cancellations and Changes:
7.1. The Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training sessions or matches. Participants will be informed as early as possible.
7.2. Withdrawal from the Club after registration does not entitle participants to a refund unless under circumstances outlined in the Refund Policy.
8. Use of Personal Information:
8.1. The Club collects personal information during the registration process for purposes of communication, administration, and compliance with SDNA and Netball Victoria requirements.
8.2. Personal information will be treated in accordance with privacy laws and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or governing body protocols.
9. Media Consent:
9.1. By registering, participants and their guardians consent to the use of photographs and videos taken during training, matches, and Club events for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and marketing materials.
9.2. If you do not wish for your images to be used, please notify the Club in writing at the time of registration.
10. Compliance with Governing Bodies:
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the rules and regulations of SDNA, Netball Victoria, and Australian Netball.
10.2. Participants must comply with the policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by SDNA and Netball Victoria, including player registration, conduct, and safety protocols.
11. Governing Law:
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
11.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in accordance with the rules of SDNA, Netball Victoria, and Australian Netball.
12. Acceptance of Terms:
12.1. By completing the registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
